Tools For Play invites us to expand and deepen our dancing by cultivating our individual movement quality and range, our noticing of the evolving relationships within the space, and our capacity to play responsively with(in) both.

We will begin with a guided exploration to land us in our bodies, in the space, in present time, in between and in connection with earth and sky. From this ground, we'll explore exercises designed to warm up the voice and our sense of play, as well as skills that support coming into and moving in contact with others (contact is always optional). And then we'll play with group scores for moving/improvising/playing with spontaneous composition together.
